Hadrian, 117-138. 'Dupondius' (Orichalcum, 27 mm, 15.00 g, 6 h), uncertain mint in the East, circa 128-130. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS Laureate head of Hadrian to right, with aegis on his left shoulder. Rev. ADVEN[TVS AV]GVSTI / COS III P P Hadrian, in military attire, on horse prancing left, raising his right hand in salute and holding spear in his left. BMC 1433. RIC p. 270, note 1393. RPC III online 6567.3 (this coin). Very rare. Very light doubling and with minor deposits, otherwise, very fine.
